Report from Las Vegas: We Were at the Source of News at SHOT Show 2026
While winter peaked in the Czech Republic, our team from Svetzbrani.cz headed to the Nevada desert. From January 20 to 23, 2026, Las Vegas transformed into the capital of all shooters, and we were right there.
SHOT Show (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Trade Show) is the largest industry trade show in the world. This year it was held at the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum complex, where over 2,700 companies presented their new products. What did we see and what does it mean for you? Here is our selection of the most interesting items.
Czech Footprints in America: CZ and Colt Under One Roof
We couldn't start anywhere else than at the Czech Firearms booth. It's good to see how Czech craftsmanship still sets the direction even in America.
CZ 75 LEGEND: The star of the booth was a faithful replica of the original model from the 70s. It retains the original short-frame design, plastic grips and blued finish. Yet it received an improved DA/SA trigger and a new 16-round magazine. The unique inverted construction, where the slide rides inside the frame, reduces recoil and the gun returns to target faster. The price ranges between $1,000 and $1,500. For collectors and practical shooters alike.
CZ 457 TARGET: A new rimfire rifle for precision shooting. It targets disciplines like PRS Rimfire, where every tenth of an MOA counts.
CZ P-13: The service pistol chosen by the German Bundeswehr contract. Seeing it in person was an experience. It's a piece of solid engineering work.
Air Rifles: Innovations That Push Boundaries
For us as air rifle retailers, this section of the trade show was crucial. And this year's edition certainly didn't disappoint.
Umarex, the Largest Portion of New Products
Umarex Tusk .357: A big bore with 225 ft-lbs (305 J) of power. Sidelever construction designed for hunting medium game including coyotes. Exactly what the market demanded. A powerful PCP air rifle in a larger caliber at a reasonable price.
Umarex Notos Gen 2: The popular compact PCP got an upgrade. The new 15-round magazine is easier to load, a larger 118cc tank at 3625 PSI extends endurance. They added a Foster fitting for easier filling and an adjustable stock.
Umarex Gauntlet Limited Edition: A limited edition in .22, .25 and .30 calibers comes with a 500cc carbon tank (4500 PSI) and a laminated wood stock. For those who want something special.
Umarex Komplete NCR .25: A hunting air rifle with NitroAir technology. Nine-round rotary magazine, sidelever, M-LOK mounts and a PCP tank included. The dual-fuel system offers flexibility.
AirForce and RAW, Extreme Power
AirForce Tex-Rex .510: A new valve pushes a 620-grain slug to over 700 ft-lbs (950 J). That's energy comparable to some firearms. Designed for hunting large game.
Tex-Rex .308 and .457: Expansion of the series with additional calibers. The Brush Gun model in .510 and .457 is designed for compact maneuverability in dense brush.
RAW HM1000x: The flagship for long distances. Available in chassis or laminated wood version. The new Mini Hunter offers a compact design with an optional pump-action kit.
Other Highlights
SKOUT Semi Auto PCP: A semi-automatic air rifle in .22 for $1,400. The electro-pneumatic system uses an electronic solenoid instead of a mechanical trigger mechanism. The result is minimal vibration and consistent shots. Available from April 2026.
Hatsan Repex and Zylox: The Turkish manufacturer presented compact models. The Repex measures only 800 mm and weighs 2.25 kg. Ideal for field use.
SPA Artemis: The Brazilian brand brought new models with an emphasis on value for money. An interesting alternative for those looking for a solid PCP without a premium price tag.
Optics: Smart Systems Are Here
This year's SHOT Show clearly showed that the era of "simple glass" is ending. Manufacturers of rifle scopes and red dots are betting on digital integration and automation.
Holosun, X3 Generation
507C-X3 and 407C-X3: A new generation of popular red dots. The 507C-X3 model offers a multi-reticle system (2 MOA dot, 32 MOA circle, or combination). Both models have improved optics and are available in red, green or gold. The latter is designed for color-blind shooters. Prices from $282.
AEMS EVO: Larger field of view, front light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment based on the environment (not the background), IPX8 water resistance and 1000G impact resistance.
Leupold Mark 4HD
The legend returns. The new Mark 4HD line in 2.5-10x42 and 8-32x56 models features M5C3 ZeroLock turrets with 30 MIL range in three revolutions. A 4:1 zoom ratio and glass at professional-level quality, but at a lower price than the Mark 5HD.
EOTech EXPS3 HD: A new model without a protective frame for better peripheral vision. They added shake-awake function and automatic brightness.
Tactical and Accessories: Modularity First
The trend of the year? Complete systems instead of individual products. Brands are presenting platforms that you can assemble according to your needs.
Noise Suppression: 2026 is the year of suppressors. Most air rifle and firearm manufacturers have introduced models with integrated or easily mountable moderators.
Lightweight Materials: Carbon fiber is no longer just on barrels. We see it on stocks, mounts and accessories. Guns are lighter than ever without losing rigidity.
Electric Magazine Loaders: A practical tool that saves your thumbs and time at the range. Several brands have introduced affordable versions.
Strike Industries PS90 Chassis: We were impressed by the modular chassis system for the FN PS90. Platforms you can assemble like building blocks are a clear trend this year.
TOP 3 Things That Impressed Us in Las Vegas

- Lightweight Materials Everywhere: Carbon fiber is no longer just on barrels. We see it on stocks, mounts and accessories. Guns are lighter than ever without losing rigidity.

When Will It Be Available Here?
Right now we are going through catalogs and negotiating with distributors. Some new products from Umarex and Hatsan will appear in the e-shop during spring 2026. For the hottest items from the USA (AirForce, SKOUT), we will have to wait a few months due to import, but it's worth it.
We are also monitoring developments in optics. The Holosun X3 generation should be available soon.
