MilSim

MilSim (Military Simulation) is a form of airsoft games that replicates real military operations. Unlike casual airsoft, it focuses on realism, teamwork, and a chain of command.

What is MilSim?

MilSim events typically last 24–72 hours without breaks. Players stay "in character" the entire time, use radio communication, and carry out multi-layered missions such as hostage rescue, reconnaissance, and position defense.

Organizers build scenarios inspired by real conflicts or fictional settings. Players are split into factions, each with assigned uniforms and loadouts.

Notable MilSim events

Border War in Ralsko, Czech Republic, is the largest MilSim event in Europe. Over 2,000 players from around the world take part in a 50-hour game that includes vehicles and helicopters.

MilSim West runs multi-day events across the United States, known for strict realism standards and demanding physical scenarios. Their operations draw hundreds of players to locations ranging from open desert to dense woodland.

Berget Events in Sweden hosts one of the biggest MilSim games in Scandinavia, with large-scale combined arms scenarios featuring armored vehicles and organized platoon-level tactics.

MilSim is not suited for beginners. It requires physical fitness, specialized gear, and prior airsoft experience.
