Venox Kratos Air CS4-I compressor

Venox Kratos Air CS4-I compressor
With the high-performance four-phase Venox Kratos Air CS4-I compressor, you get complete self-sufficiency when filling PCP air rifles and high-volume cylinders.
With the ever-increasing filling pressures of PCP airguns, this compressor with up to 400 bar (5800 psi) pressure will last you a really long time. What's more, you can easily fill cylinders up to 6.8 litres (6800cc) with it.
Of course, the AutoStop function automatically stops filling when a pre-set pressure is reached - simply set it with the rotary dial on the pressure gauge. For optimum performance and durability, the unit is cooled by both air and distilled water. The noise level of the compressor ranges from 65-70 dB.
You can powerthe Venox Kratos Air CS4-I compressor in several ways. You can connect it to a 220V/110V mains power supply or use a 12V car battery thanks to the included cables. The package also includes a high-pressure hose with two classic quick couplers at both ends, a set of wrenches, spare springs, seals and pressure relief devices (so-called Burst discs).
To prevent overheating and permanent damage to the compressor, the maximum recommended time for one filling cycle is 300 minutes. Therefore, air cartridges with large volumes may require filling at several shorter intervals.
IMPORTANT! The only thing to watch out for with this compressor is the FIRST Flush. It's simple, but requires following a few steps.
1.Refill water: pour 500 ml of distilled water into the top reservoir . If there is already some there, just top it up.
2.Start the water pump: turn on the compressor (but NOT the filling mode). This will start the water pump.
3. Cooling venting: To vent the water cooling, you will need to turn the compressor off and on several times(red switch only, not starting the fill process) until the pump starts pumping water properly. During this time, water will be coming from the reservoir into the cooling system, so add water gradually until the level stabilizes and water starts flowing back into the reservoir.
4.test fill:then run the fill mode for approximately 10-20 minutes.
5. Then unplug the compressor, drain the entire tank and refill it with clean distilled water.
6. First lubrication: It is recommended to lubricate the compressor for the first time after 4-6 hours of operation. This is done by turning the grease knob on the top of the unit one full revolution (360°). Earlier lubrication could lead to reduced performance and slower filling.
IMPORTANT! When using the compressor, it is essential to purchase an external filter (VXFS-Q351) to effectively trap any condensed moisture in the hose. The original filter supplied with the compressor was designed and tested in very low humidity environments and may not be sufficient for our conditions. Always connect the hose with both the original and external filter towards the air line.
If your PCP wind tunnel uses a 1/8" BSP threaded fill pin, you will need to purchase a male to male quick connect for proper connection.
IMPORTANT: On some models of air blowers, you may not be able to fill them "from scratch" using the compressor alone. In these cases, the compressor may not have sufficient initial pressure to open the gun valve. If you encounter this situation, it is necessary to fill the air rifle at least partially from the cylinder before proceeding with the filling.
