Beast Hunter A1 80lb Crossbow is a pistol crossbow designed for recreational target shooting at 10-15m. Its fiberglass bow, which has a cocking force of 80 lb, can develop arrow speeds up to 160 FPS.

Easy cocking of the A1 is accomplished by a pull rod that gets the bowstring into the locking mechanism. Insert the foot into the footplate, which is in the front part, and pull the crossbow towards you by pulling the rod towards you. The crossbow is then ready to fire. After the crossbow is cocked, the pull rod must be returned to its original position. The standard sights and the sight, which is adjustable in height and sideways, help with aiming at the target.

For the A1 80lb crossbow, it is best to use the prescribed 6.5" arrows. There is also an accidental shot safety on the crossbow that is behind the bowstring catch. Moving the switch forward will release the safety and moving it back will lock it.

To prevent extreme wear on the crossbow, keep the bowstring greased at all times.
