For more than five years the Presslug brand has been dedicated to the development and production of quality ammunition for airguns. It has now expanded its production to include finished Slugs, which are available in all common calibers and weights. This responds to the needs of different shooting disciplines as well as to the technical requirements of airguns with different performance.

The PS Slugs differ from the classic diabolos not only in shape but also in characteristics. Thanks to their aerodynamic design, they have a higher ballistic coefficient, which means a slower drop in velocity, longer range and higher impact energy. The slugs' weight is best suited to more powerful air rifles.

Important note: Slugs are designed exclusively for air rifles with non-choked barrels - i.e. those without a tapered muzzle. A choked barrel that tapers slightly towards the muzzle may be advantageous for conventional slugs, but rigid slugs run the risk of jamming. The use of slugs in an unsuitable barrel can lead to damage to the gun or reduced accuracy.

Slugs are designed to fit common airgun calibers:

• The 5.49 mm variant is designed for 5.5 mm (.22) caliber
• The 6.34 mm variant is designed for the 6.35 mm (.25) calibre
• The 7.62 mm variant is for the 7.62 mm calibre (.30)
