Valiant Kronos is Valiant's hunting line of professional riflescopes with increased durability due to the one-piece foam body construction. The rifle scope can be used up to .357 H&H caliber with a power output of around 6000 J.
By combining a basic 30 mm diameter tube with a 56 mm objective lens, the Valiant Kronos riflescope can achieve better light and optical conditions, and thus image clarity, which is also aided by high-quality lenses with anti-reflective treatment. The lenses of the Valiant Kronos riflescope are further protected by removable Flip Open caps to reduce fouling. In the event of strong backlight, you can use the supplied sun visor. To prevent fogging in unstable temperature and weather conditions, the Kronos tube is filled with nitrogen. All these parameters of the riflescope help for an excellent image.
This model has adjustable parallax from 15 yards - infinity. The parallax control is located on the center stack. For ease of control, a large parallax wheel is included that snaps onto the stack, and then the settings can be controlled with ease and precision.
Another requirement for high recoil resistance is the use of a glass cross. The cross is etched into one of the lenses of the rifle scope's optical system. This prevents the cross from breaking when the gun is fired, which could occur if it were wire.
The Valiant Kronos riflescope features a FBR type crosshair, which is distinguished by an extension at the bottom that ends at the very bottom of the riflescope. This extension makes the optic excellent for shooting at longer ranges, giving the shooter a greater number of DOT points to aim at. Field Target shooters will appreciate this.
The crosshair adjustments on the Valiant Kronos line of rifle scopes are capped. This prevents clogging of the adjusting mechanism or accidental readjustment of the optics. The lower design of these chimneys provides better visibility and easier eventual transport in a gun case. The click is sure, firm and noticeable. One click affects crosshair position by 1/4 MOA at 100 yards.
There is also a backlight control on the left side of the riflescope. TheValiant Kronos models are equipped with a red backlight. The CR2032 battery that powers the backlight is not included, it can be purchased in the accessories section, under the item description.
The zoom Kronos scope is adjustable from 3x to 12x. It can therefore meet the requirements of long range shooting.
By rotating the ring on the eyepiece of the riflescope, you can adjust the diopter correction in the range of +-2 diopters.
Because we have no idea in advance which weapon and mounting rail the riflescope will be used on, mounting rings are not included. This is because we anticipate that the Kronos range of rifle scopes will also find their use on edged weapons that require steel mounts. The correct mounting rings for the height and mounting type required can be found in the accessories section.
