After the primer of the compact is lit, after approximately 3 - 6 seconds, individual rounds will begin firing at a range of 15 - 50 meters (depending on caliber). This is a completely automatic process, apart from lighting the fuse you don't have to worry about anything else, so just watch the whole spectacular show without any worries :-)
