The gun's alloy construction is polymer-coated to reduce overall weight.
The propellant of the Umarex T4E TR 50 revolver is a CO2 bomb that is inserted into the grip. The bomb is inserted into the handle and secured with a cap. Only when the gun needs to be pressurized does the cap need to be bumped all the way under the grip and pressurization occurs
Rubber Ball ammunition is loaded into a separate wreath magazine that holds 6 of these balls. The TR 50 revolver magazines can also be ordered separately.
The gun has a Double Action Only trigger mechanism.
The so-called reed safety is located in the trigger guard.
