The Hatsan Striker 1000S Vortex air rifle boasts a more advanced Vortex system compared to other models, which results in better shooting performance. The classic spring has been replaced with a pressurized piston, giving the air rifle more consistent performance, quieter operation and less recoil.

The Striker model also received a new polymer stock with a hole to allow for a more secure thumb grip around the grip, as well as a grip aided by roughened surfaces on the grip and forearm.
