The magnification of the riflescope is adjustable from 4x to 16x. Therefore, it can meet the requirements of long range shooting.

The Zephyr 4-16x50  riflescope is equipped with a 10x 1/2 MilDot type crosshair, the reduction of the crosshair makes it less distracting when tracking the target, but at the same time ideally sharp and visible when actually aiming at the target.

To increase the luminosity and image sharpness of the riflescope, the lenses have a green coating, which are further protected by removable Flip Open caps to reduce fouling. In case of strong backlight, you can use the supplied sun visor.

The crosshair adjustment tabs on the Valiant Zephyr  line of riflescopes are open with the Fast Lock system, allowing you to make adjustments virtually instantly. The Fast Lock system is very easy to operate, just pull the chimney up or to the side and you can make adjustments immediately. After adjustment, simply push the chimney and the position is fixed. You can also use the option of zeroing the chimney, i.e. setting your initial values to 0. The click is sure, firm and noticeable. One click affects the crosshair position by 1/4 MOA at 100 yards.

The adjustable parallax located on the left side of the center of the Valiant Zephyr 4-16x50  will help you affect the background and crosshair sharpness depending on the distance you are currently aiming. Also included is a large parallax wheel for easier control. In case of eye defects, the image can be easily sharpened by adjusting the eyepiece from -2 to +2 diopters.

There is also a backlight control on the left side of the riflescope. The Valiant Zephyr  models are equipped with a three-color backlight, red, green, blue. The CR2032 battery that powers the backlight is not included, it can be purchased in the accessories section, under the product description.

Because we have no idea in advance which weapon and mounting rail the rifle scope will be used on, mounting rings are not included. This is because we anticipate that the Zephyr series will find its use on edged weapons that require steel mounts. The correct mounting rings for the height and type of mounting required can be found in the accessories section.
