Spain's Gamo is one of the very high quality airgun manufacturers. Moreover, their models are also affordable. For reasonable money you get a functional powerful and beautiful air gun.
The quality workmanship of the mechanical parts is especially noticeable when handling the gun. Everything goes smoothly without scrubbing.
The rifled barrels of the Gamo CFX Royal model are 450 mm long. Gamo has calculated that such a parameter is enough to make its airguns accurate. The total length of the airgun is then 1,160 mm.
The beautiful beech wood stock is very easy to hold. The ergonomics of the stock and the shape of the cheekpiece allow both right and left-handed shooters to shoot.The rubber dot at the end of the stock absorbs recoil of the gun.
The solid barrel of the Gamo CFX Royal prevents deflections depending on the barrel opening. This phenomenon can be observed when using a scope at a distance of 25-30m. The barrel is seated firmly against the optic, so there is no muzzle clearance when the air rifle is cocked.
And for defying the extra charging lever, the air rifle weighs a nice 3,500g.
The Tru-Glo standard sights are easy to read, even in twilight. The sight is fixed, the sight is fully adjustable laterally and in height. If these sights are not enough for the shooter, the air rifle can be fitted with a scope or collimator in 11 mm slots. For easier reloading of the air rifle, higher mounted scopes or compact rifle scopes are recommended.
The trigger guard, an accidental discharge safety, can be found in front of the trigger guard in the form of a small lever. The air rifle is locked in the position near the trigger and unlocked in the position away from the trigger.
