Replica del mitra Thompson M1928, ben noto dai film sulla mafia e dal leggendario videogioco ceco Mafia.
Il mitra ha una struttura interamente metallica, completata da calciatura e astina in plastica con finitura imitazione legno. Il polimero è oggi utilizzato nella maggior parte delle armi e risulta spesso più resistente e di qualità superiore al legno.
Sull'arma si trovano anche occhielli metallici per la cinghia, che purtroppo non è inclusa nella confezione e deve essere acquistata separatamente.
Il mitra M1A1 Legendary è alimentato a gas CO2 erogato da due bombolette CO2 12 g. Le bombolette si inseriscono nel caricatore dell'arma.
Principio del sistema CO2: la bomboletta si inserisce nell'arma e, tramite una chiusura meccanica, viene perforata su un perno. Premendo il grilletto, il cane colpisce il percussore della valvola e la valvola si apre. Il gas CO2 inizia a fluire dalla bomboletta e spinge il proiettile fuori dalla canna.
Apprezziamo la capacità del caricatore, che alloggia fino a 30 BB in acciaio cal. 4,5 mm.
Lo scatto del modello Legends M1A1 è in modalità single action. Il riarmo è gestito dal sistema Blowback, che muove il carrello durante il tiro e aumenta al contempo il realismo del tiro. Il tiro avviene a colpo singolo a ogni pressione del grilletto - semi auto.
Arma a modesta capacità offensiva ai sensi del Decreto n° 362 del 9 Agosto 2001 — libera vendita ai maggiorenni.
