Replica del mitra Thompson M1928, ben conosciuto dai film sulla mafia e dal leggendario videogioco ceco Mafia.
Il mitra presenta una costruzione interamente in metallo, completata da calcio in polimero e astina con finitura ad imitazione legno. Il polimero è oggi impiegato sulla maggior parte delle armi e spesso risulta più resistente e duraturo del legno.
Sull'arma sono presenti anelli metallici per la cinghia, che però non è inclusa nella confezione e deve essere acquistata a parte.
Il mitra M1A1 Legendary è alimentato da CO2 fornita da due bombolette CO2 12 g. Le bombolette si inseriscono nel caricatore dell'arma.
Principio di funzionamento del sistema CO2: la bomboletta viene inserita nell'arma e perforata su un puntale tramite chiusura meccanica. Premendo il grilletto, il cane colpisce il percussore della valvola che si apre. Da qui inizia a fluire il gas CO2 dalla bomboletta, che spinge il proiettile fuori dalla canna.
Apprezzabile la capacità del caricatore, che ospita fino a 30 BB in acciaio cal. 4,5 mm.
Il meccanismo di scatto del modello Legends M1A1 funziona in modalità single action. Al suo armamento provvede il sistema Blowback, che durante il tiro muove il carrello e aumenta il realismo dello sparo. Il fuoco può essere effettuato a colpo singolo premendo il grilletto (semi auto) oppure mantenendo premuto il grilletto per il tiro a raffica (full auto).
