Pistola a salve elegantemente realizzata nella finitura nera opaca. A prima vista è evidente che si tratta di un modello rielaborato della pistola a salve Walther P99, ma rispetto a quella versione differisce per l'aggiornamento del caricatore e della sicura contro lo sparo accidentale. Una novità è anche lo sgancio del caricatore, che si trova sull'impugnatura dell'arma. Alla qualità e affidabilità contribuiscono anche il telaio interno in polimero e le precise parti in metallo, utilizzate anche nelle armi da fuoco. Grazie a questa costruzione, la pistola Walther PPQ M2 può essere classificata per peso tra le pistole a salve più leggere. Sottolineiamo anche la realizzazione della forma dell'impugnatura, che si adatta letteralmente a chiunque. Pistola a salve molto pratica di Walther adatta al porto quotidiano.
