La replica interamente in metallo della Beretta, con brunitura speciale, ha un aspetto molto vicino a quello di un'arma vera.
Grazie al sistema Blowback la sensazione di tiro è ancora più realistica.
La Beretta M84 FS consente di rimuovere il carrello in modo rapido e semplice. È così possibile simulare le operazioni di gestione di un'arma vera.
Il caricatore è separato e può essere estratto senza dispersione di pressione.
Il meccanismo di scatto è in modalità Single Action: prima del primo colpo è necessario armare la pistola con il carrello; dopo lo sparo il Blowback riarma automaticamente l'arma. Sistema semplice tipico delle armi semiautomatiche.
La pistola CO2 Beretta M84 FS è adatta al tiro ricreativo grazie alle BB in acciaio, dure e non deformabili come i piombini diabolo.
