Het Duitse bedrijf Umarex bezit de licenties van alle belangrijke wapenmerken. Daardoor kunnen ze authentieke replica's produceren met originele markeringen.
De Heckler & Koch 416 A5 Sportline is gemaakt van duurzame kunststoffen van de nieuwe generatie en dat is echt te merken. Dit materiaaltype combineert een laag gewicht van 2.300 g met verhoogde duurzaamheid. De afwerking is strak en behoorlijk getrouw.
Omdat het een airsofreplica uit de Sportline-serie betreft die bedoeld is voor gebruik tijdens airsoftspellen, is het vermogen ingesteld op 1 J, wat overeenkomt met een mondingssnelheid van circa 100 m/s. Het vermogen en een looplengte van 290 mm zorgen voor een solide schietnauwkeurigheid.
Het HK 416 A5 Sportline geweer kan worden aangedreven door twee typen batterijen. Het ondersteunt LiPo-batterijen type B 7,4V 850 mAh en D 11,1V 900 mAh met een stroomsterkte van 20C. De batterij zit verborgen in de schuifbare kolf zodat hij niet zichtbaar is en het authentieke uiterlijk behouden blijft.
Het magazijn voor 6mm plastic BB-munitie heeft een capaciteit van maximaal 160 stuks.
De H&K 416 A5 heeft meerdere vuurmodi. Dankzij de roterende schakelaar die ook de veiligheidspal bevat kun je het geweer vergrendelen, ontgrendelen voor enkelvuur en ook ontgrendelen voor salvovuur, dat wil zeggen in Full-Automodus. Het vuurritme bereikt 1500 BB's per minuut.
Transparante vizieren helpen je op het doel te mikken. De korrel is vast en de keep is instelbaar.
De kolf is ook verstelbaar. De lengte kan door de schutter in 5 stappen worden aangepast.
De Heckler & Koch 416 A5 Sportline wordt geleverd met alleen het munitiemagazijn; de batterij en batterijlader moeten apart worden aangeschaft.
