De Blue-Black editie heeft een tweekleurig ontwerp ten opzichte van de standaardversie. Het frame van het wapen heeft een blauwe kleur gekregen.
De verbeterde P22Q heeft een nieuwe grendel en een verfijndere greep.
Net als bij het scherpe model is er een speciale matte zwarte afwerking toegepast, die er verzorgd uitziet en tevens duurzaam is. De Walther P22Q heeft een speciale constructie gebaseerd op een combinatie van metaal en gehard polymeer, ook gebruikt bij scherpe wapens.
