Legends M1A1 Legendary CO2 luchtbuks
Een replica van het Thompson M1928 pistoolmitrailleur, dat iedereen kent uit mafiafilms of het legendarische Tsjechische spel Mafia.
De luchtbuks heeft een volledig metalen constructie, aangevuld met een plastic kolf en voorgreep in houtimitatie. Polymeer wordt tegenwoordig bij de meeste wapens gebruikt en is vaak van betere kwaliteit en duurzamer dan hout.
Op het wapen zijn ook metalen draaglussluisjes te vinden voor de draagband, die helaas niet bij de levering is inbegrepen en apart moet worden aangeschaft.
M1A1 Legendary wordt aangedreven door CO2 gas, geleverd uit twee 12g CO2-patronen. De patronen worden in het magazijn van het wapen geplaatst.
Het principe van het CO2-systeem: de CO2-patroon wordt in het wapen geplaatst en mechanisch op de pin geprikt bij het sluiten. Bij het intrekken van de trekker slaat de haan op het klepstift en de klep opent. Zo begint CO2 gas uit de patroon te stromen, dat het projectiel uit de loop drijft.
De magazijncapaciteit van 30 stuks stalen BB's van 4,5 mm is indrukwekkend.
Het trekkermechanisme van de Legends M1A1 is in single action modus. Het spannen wordt verzorgd door het blowback systeem - de beweging van de grendel tijdens het schieten, wat ook het realisme van het schieten vergroot. Het daadwerkelijke schieten verloopt via losse schoten na het intrekken van de trekker - semi-auto.
