De meest bekende en populaire Glock-replica onder het merk Umarex, dat een licentie heeft om nauwkeurige replica's te produceren.
Net als het originele model heeft dit luchtpistool een metalen slede en loop, terwijl het onderste frame van polymeer is gemaakt.
Dit model beschikt over het BlowBack-systeem, dat zorgt voor het realistisch bewegen van het sluitstuk tijdens het vuren.
Het Glock 17 Gen4 BlowBack-model heeft een Single Action-trekkermechanisme — de slede moet vóór het eerste schot worden gespannen, net als bij het origineel. Het luchtpistool is halfautomatisch; na het afvuren spant de BlowBack het wapen voor het volgende schot.
Het 12 g CO2-patroon wordt in de Glock 17 Gen4 geplaatst in een apart magazijn dat uit het wapen kan worden verwijderd zonder dat het CO2-gas ontsnapt.
De veiligheidspal is identiek ontworpen als bij het origineel, met behulp van een veer. De trekker moet in het midden worden ingedrukt om de veiligheidspal te deactiveren. Uiteraard beschikt het wapen ook over een schakelaar aan de onderkant van de loop. Deze wordt voor- en achterwaarts bediend voor volledig ontspannen en vergrendelen van het wapen.
