Deze replica van de iconische Peacemaker western luchtrevolver is een echte hommage aan de historische wapens van het Wilde Westen. Hij heeft een nikkelafwerking die gecombineerd met gouden details op de trommel, trekker en haan een elegante en luxueuze uitstraling creëert.
Het algehele ontwerp van de Colt SAA .45 Diabolo Smoke Wagon luchtrevolver is tot in detail uitgewerkt. Hij is gemaakt van volledig metalen materiaal met glanzende vernikkeling, aangevuld met kunststof ivoor-imitatie grepen met een decoratief pokermunt-motief.
De munitie die in de replica-hulzen wordt geplaatst, is 4,5 mm loden diabolo. De lange getrokken loop maakt het nauwkeurig en ideaal voor doelschieten. Het laden gaat als volgt: de diabolo-hulzen worden per 6 stuks in de trommel geplaatst, wat een echte revolver getrouw nabootst.
De aandrijving wordt verzorgd door een 12 g CO2-patroon, dat onder de linker greep wordt geplaatst. De aandraaiingschroef van de patroon is verborgen, zodat hij de strakke lijnen van het wapen niet verstoort. Nadat de patroon is geplaatst en aangeprikt, geeft het systeem samengeperst CO2 vrij dat bij elke trekkerhaal de klep opent en een schot uit de loop stuurt.
Het triggermechanisme van de Colt SAA .45 Diabolo Smoke Wagon luchtrevolver werkt uitsluitend in de Single Action-stand. De haan heeft een dubbele werking: de eerste positie geeft de trommel vrij om munitie te verwijderen en te laden, terwijl de tweede positie de trommel tegen de slagpin zet en het schieten mogelijk maakt.
