De optische eigenschappen van de richtkijker zijn af te lezen uit de aanduiding. Bij dit specifieke model gaat het om een optiek met variabele 3x-9x vergroting, die wordt ingesteld via een draaibare ring op de buis.
Buis van de UX RS 3-12x56 1" - 25,4mm diameter is gemaakt van solide aluminium en een optisch systeem daarin van glazen lenzen. Deze constructie garandeert de robuustheid van de richtkijker en een helder beeld. Parallax is af fabriek vast ingesteld op 25 m.
Op het oculair vind je dioptriescorrectie. Zowel het oculair als de lens van de richtkijker zijn uitgerust met afneembare afdekkappen.Het verlichte dradenkruis van de UX RS 3-12x56 DC FI richtkijker is gemaakt van metaaldraad en correspondeert met het beoogde TacDot-type richtstelsel. De intensiteit van de achtergrondverlichting van het kruisdraad is instelbaar. Je kunt ook kiezen of het rood of groen verlicht is, of zonder verlichting. De positie van het kruisdraad kan worden beïnvloed via de knoppen onder de torendeksels. De knoppen zijn eenvoudig met de vingers in te stellen.
De UX 3-12x56 DC FI richtkijker is in principe ontworpen voor luchtbuksen met een Donevail 11 mm-rail of -groeven. In de verpakking van de richtkijker vind je de benodigde montageringen. Als je de richtkijker op een ander type rail wilt monteren, dien je de bijbehorende montage apart aan te schaffen.
