De optische eigenschappen van de richtkijker zijn af te lezen uit de aanduiding. Dit specifieke model heeft een optiek met variabele vergroting van 3x-9x, in te stellen met een draaibare ring op de buis.
De buis van de UX RS 3-9x40 met een diameter van 1" — 25,4 mm is vervaardigd uit stevig aluminium en beschikt over een optisch systeem van glazen lenzen. Deze constructie zorgt voor de duurzaamheid van de richtkijker en een helder beeld. De vaste parallax is vanaf de fabriek ingesteld op 10 m.
Het draadkruis van de UX RS 3-9x40-richtkijker is van metaaldraad en heeft een TacDot-reticle. Je kunt dit bekijken in de fotogalerij. De positie van het kruis stel je in via de instelwieltjes onder de torentjesdoppen, die eenvoudig met de vingers te bedienen zijn.
Het oculair en het objectief van de richtkijker zijn voorzien van afneembare lenskappen.
De richtkijker is standaard geschikt voor luchtbuksen met een Donevail 11mm-rail of -groeven. In het pakket van de richtkijker vind je de benodigde montageringen. Als je de richtkijker op een ander type rail wilt monteren, dien je een geschikte montage apart aan te schaffen.
