Het robuuste tactische TP 50 Gen2-pistool is geschikt voor het oefenen van wapenhandeling en recreatief schieten. Hoewel het niet is ontworpen voor competitief doelschieten, is het uitstekend geschikt voor het schieten op blikken en andere oefendoelen. Het onderscheidt zich door zijn betrouwbaarheid en hoge mondingsenergie. De 2e generatie van de beproefde TP 50 is geoptimaliseerd qua ontwerp en functie voor uitstekende prestaties en gebruiksklaarheid.
De belangrijkste kenmerken van dit wapen zijn een geoptimaliseerde greeptextuur, een hoogscontrasterende optische vizier en een innovatief Quick-Piercing-systeem met geïntegreerde drukverlaging.

Umarex T4E TP 50 gebruikt een CO2-patroon 12g als aandrijving, die in de handgreep wordt geplaatst. De patroon wordt in de handgreep geplaatst en afgesloten. Wanneer het pistool onder druk gebracht moet worden, volstaat een tik aan de onderkant van de handgreep.
De munitie wordt geplaatst in het buisvormige magazijn onder de loop, dat 6 kogels kan bevatten. Munitie voor dit wapen vind je in de categorie "Munitie" -> "T4E-munitie"
Het trekker-mechanisme van dit pistool heeft uitsluitend de modus Double Action Only. Bij het overhalen van de trekker wordt een schot gelost.
Het pistool is uitgerust met een veiligheidspal tegen onbedoeld vuren, de zogeheten trekkerpal. Deze pal wordt ook gebruikt bij Glock-pistolen. Om het wapen te ontgrendelen en een schot te lossen, moet je de trekker samen met de trekkerpal overhalen.
