The Walther PDP Compact CO2 air pistol stands out for its precision craftsmanship, which combines metal parts with highly durable polymer. While the barrel, slide, and internal mechanical parts are all-metal, the lower frame is made of lightweight polymer. This design significantly reduces the gun’s overall weight and ensures a secure, ergonomic grip for maximum shooting stability.
In addition to classic mechanical sights, the pistol’s slide is equipped with a mounting platform for attaching optics. Using a set of adapters (not included and available for purchase separately here— red dot sight adapters), you can easily mount red dot sights from brands such as Vortex, Leupold, C-More, or Trijicon onto the firearm .
Power is provided by a standard 12g CO2 cartridge, which is inserted directly into the all-metal magazine. The Allen screw for tightening the cartridge is hidden under the magazine base, which preserves the gun’s authentic appearance. The pistol can fire more than 70 rounds on a single cartridge.
Ammunition is loaded into the front of the magazine. The magazine holds up to 18 4.5 mm steel BBs.
The pistol operates in semi-automatic mode. An authentic shooting experience is ensured by the BlowBack system, which sharply moves the metal slide backward with each shot. This movement not only faithfully simulates the recoil of the real firearm but also automatically cocks the internal hammer.
For maximum safety against accidental discharge, the pistol is equipped with two safety mechanisms:
- Trigger safety: To fire,the trigger must be pulled exactly in the center, which automatically disengages the safety mechanism.
- Manual lever safety: Located on the right side between the slide and the frame. Pulling it down securely locks the firearm; pushing it up unlocks it.
