Construcción totalmente metálica con un acabado estético perfecto, propia del revólver Single Action que quizá conozcas sobre todo por las películas del oeste.
Este revólver cuenta con un acabado especial niquelado brillante y una empuñadura con cachas de plástico brillante en decoración símil marfil.
La capacidad del cilindro (cargador) del revólver Colt SAA 45 es de 6 disparos.
Como munición se utilizan balines duros de acero BB. Gracias al cañón largo, el disparo con este revólver es preciso.
El mecanismo de disparo del revólver es en modo Single Action. A esto se asocia el doble recorrido del martillo. En la primera posición se libera el movimiento del cilindro del Colt SAA 45, para poder descargarlo y cargarlo con balines de acero. En la segunda posición el cilindro se coloca frente al percutor y, al presionar el gatillo, se produce el disparo.
