Le fusil Umarex T4E TB 68 Gen2 est un outil efficace pour la défense personnelle et la protection des biens. Le modèle Gen2 introduit le filetage M22x1,5 sur le canon pour le montage du X-Tracer.
Le modèle Gen2 est alimenté par une bombe CO2 12 g insérée dans la poignée et, grâce au système innovant Quick-Piercing 2.0, peut être activé d'une seule frappe de paume sur la base de la poignée. Ce système assure une pressurisation rapide uniquement en cas de besoin, prolongeant ainsi sensiblement la durée de vie du joint et de la soupape. De plus, le bouchon percuteur amélioré permet une manipulation sans outil — uniquement avec les doigts.
La construction robuste est réalisée en alliage puis recouverte de polymère. Comme pour les autres armes de la série T4E, Umarex a opté pour une solution technique axée sur la fiabilité, la légèreté et la disponibilité immédiate, sans usure inutile du mécanisme.
Les munitions se chargent directement sous le canon. Une large gamme de munitions calibre .68 est disponible — des projectiles en caoutchouc aux charges au poivre, en passant par les billes à noyau acier.
Le mécanisme de détente fonctionne en mode Double Action Only (DAO), ce qui signifie qu'un simple appui sur la gâchette suffit à tirer sans armement préalable. La sécurité linguet, intégrée directement dans la détente, minimise le risque de départ involontaire.
La visée est facilitée par des organes de visée fixes, complétés d'un rail de montage supérieur de 22 mm permettant le montage d'un collimateur ou d'une optique selon les besoins.
