Le Browning Buck Mark Magnum est un pistolet à ressort à canon basculant conçu pour le tir de plombs de 4,5 mm. Ce pistolet utilise le principe des armes à air comprimé à canon basculant, dans lequel le ressort du piston est comprimé en cassant le canon. Le piston est alors retenu par le mécanisme de détente. À la pression de la détente, le piston avance et crée la pression nécessaire pour propulser les munitions hors du canon.
