Pistolet-mitrailleur CO2 Legends M1A1 Legendary
Une réplique du pistolet-mitrailleur Thompson M1928, universellement connu grâce aux films de gangsters et au légendaire jeu tchèque Mafia.
Le pistolet-mitrailleur arbore une construction entièrement métallique, complétée par une crosse et un devant en plastique imitation bois. Le polymère est aujourd'hui utilisé sur la majorité des répliques et offre souvent une qualité et une résistance supérieures au bois véritable.
On trouve également sur l'arme des anneaux métalliques pour sangle – celle-ci n'est pas incluse et doit être achetée séparément.
Le samopal M1A1 Legendary est propulsé par le gaz CO2 de deux cartouches 12 g insérées dans le chargeur. Principe du système CO2 : la cartouche est insérée dans l'arme et percutée mécaniquement sur le pointeau. À chaque pression sur la détente, le chien frappe l'axe du clapet, ouvrant le circuit CO2 qui expulse la bille hors du canon.
Le chargeur, d'une capacité de 30 billes d'acier BB calibre 4,5 mm, est particulièrement généreux.
Le mécanisme de détente du Legends M1A1 fonctionne en single action. L'armement est assuré par le système BlowBack – le recul de la culasse à chaque coup renforce le réalisme du tir. La cadence de tir est semi-automatique : un coup par pression de détente.
