Le pistolet Umarex T4E Heckler&Koch SFP9 est destiné au tir défensif ; bien qu’il ne soit pas conçu pour le tir sportif de compétition, il s’en sort très bien sur canettes et autres cibles d’exercice.
Grâce à l’association d’une culasse métallique et d’une carcasse en polymère, le poids global est contenu. Bien que relativement léger, le pistolet n’en demeure pas moins solide.
Le T4E Heckler&Koch SFP9 utilise une cartouche CO2 de 12 g comme propulseur, insérée directement dans le chargeur avec les munitions. Le chargeur autorise les munitions Rubber Ball calibre .43 et offre une capacité de 8 billes.
Principe de fonctionnement du système CO2 : une petite cartouche est insérée dans l’arme et percée via un capuchon mécanique. Quand on presse la détente, le percuteur frappe la tige de la valve et celle-ci s’ouvre. Un flux de gaz CO2 s’échappe alors et propulse le projectile hors du canon.
Le pistolet Umarex T4E Heckler&Koch dispose d’une détente en mode Single Action. Avant le premier tir, il faut tirer la culasse en arrière puis la relâcher pour armer le mécanisme. Grâce au système Blowback qui réarme automatiquement après chaque tir, vous pouvez enchaîner les coups par simple pression sur la détente.
L’arme est dotée d’une sécurité contre les départs intempestifs, dite sécurité à languette, comme sur les Glock : il faut presser la détente bien au centre, languette comprise, pour déverrouiller l’arme et permettre le tir.
