Le robuste pistolet tactique TP 50 Gen2 ne sert pas seulement au tir défensif : il convient tout aussi bien à l’entraînement à la manipulation et au tir en général. Même s’il n’est pas conçu pour le tir sportif de compétition, il s’en sort parfaitement sur canettes et autres cibles d’exercice. Cette deuxième génération du fameux TR 50 a été optimisée tant en matière de design que de fonctionnement, pour des performances et une disponibilité supérieures.
Parmi les caractéristiques majeures de cette arme, on relève une texture de poignée optimisée, des organes de visée à haut contraste et un système innovant Quick-Piercing avec relâchement de pression intégré.
L’énergie a été portée à 13 J pour une efficacité nettement accrue.
L’Umarex T4E TP 50 utilise comme propulseur une cartouche CO2 de 12 g. Vous l’insérez dans la poignée et la fermez. Lorsque vous souhaitez mettre l’arme sous pression, il suffit d’une simple frappe sur le bas de la crosse pour activer le système.
Les munitions s’insèrent dans un chargeur tubulaire situé sous le canon, capable d’accueillir 6 billes. Les munitions adaptées figurent dans la catégorie « Munitions T4E ».
Le mécanisme de détente fonctionne en mode Double Action Only / DAO : une simple pression suffit pour faire feu.
L’arme est dotée d’une sécurité contre les départs intempestifs, dite sécurité à languette, comme sur les Glock : il faut presser la détente bien au centre, languette comprise, pour déverrouiller l’arme et permettre le tir.

Réglementation France : avec une énergie de 13 J (supérieure à 7,5 J), ce modèle relève de la catégorie B et nécessite une autorisation préfectorale.
